The Day 2 Workshop, “Building an International Finance Talent Pool”, is organized by Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) in collaboration with the Viet Nam International Financial Center in Ho Chi Minh City (VIFC-HCMC). The workshop will take place on 24 June 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City and will convene representatives from government, academia, financial institutions, professional bodies, industry, and international organizations.
As Viet Nam advances its ambition to establish an international financial center, a strong pool of international finance talent has become a critical foundation for market credibility, institutional capacity, regulatory readiness, financial innovation, and long-term competitiveness.
Workshop Purpose
- Assess the current state of financial talent development in Viet Nam
- Identify system-level gaps across university education, professional certification, and industry demand
- Share international best practices from leading financial markets and international financial centers
- Co-design practical initiatives and partnerships to strengthen Viet Nam’s international finance talent pool
